Muskeg Lake Cree Nation Per Capita Distribution and Member Workshops

The Muskeg Lake Cree Nation is moving forward with the distribution of $30,000 per eligible adult Member as part of the Treaty 6 Agricultural Benefits Claim settlement. This Per Capita Distribution (PCD) reflects the Nation’s commitment to ensuring that all Members share in the benefits of this settlement.

It is important to note that Muskeg Lake Cree Nation has not yet received the signed settlement agreement from the federal government. While this was anticipated, final payment timelines remain dependent on federal confirmation. The Nation has communicated that distribution is still expected in late fall to early winter 2025, and any changes to this timeline will be shared with Members as soon as possible.

While we await the return of the signed settlement offer, the Nation will continue preparing for the PCD payment to ensure a smooth payment experience for all Members.
