Your Voice Matters: Communications and Governance Engagement Survey

Muskeg Lake Cree Nation is inviting members to take part in a Communications and Governance Engagement Survey. This survey is one way we are asking members to share their perspectives on how we communicate, consult, and engage, and how we can continue to do better.

Over the past while, improvements have been made in how information is shared and how members are engaged. At the same time, we know there is still important work ahead. Good governance requires ongoing reflection, listening, and a willingness to improve. miyo-wîcihitowin, working together in a good way, means being honest about where we are and where we need to go.

The survey focuses on understanding:

• How members currently receive information from Muskeg Lake Cree Nation
• How clear and useful governance and community updates are
• What meaningful consultation looks like from a member perspective
• What topics members want more communication and engagement on
• How engagement and consultation can be improved moving forward

The survey is open to all members, regardless of where your home fire is. Participation is voluntary, and responses will be reviewed in aggregate to help identify trends, strengths, and areas for improvement.

As a thank-you for taking the time to participate, one Nintendo Switch 2 will be given away by random draw. Muskeg Lake Cree Nation band members who complete the survey and choose to provide their name and email address will be entered into the draw. Providing contact information is optional and will not affect how your feedback is used. The draw will be held in early February 2026.
